Soaring Beyond

As the world grappled with the chaos brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself working within the walls of a hospital as Pharmacy Technician, bearing witnessing the fragility of life up close. The stark reality of witnessing once-vibrant individuals succumb to the grips of the pandemic weighed heavily on my heart. The thought lingered – what if retirement never came, and the chance to chase my dreams slipped away? And so, with a heart full of courage, I embarked on a new path.

In April 2023, I took a leap of faith and embraced a new chapter of my life, one that unfolded among the clouds. Becoming a flight attendant was a decision that not only aligned with my desire to see the world but also opened doors to extraordinary experiences. The role brought me face-to-face with the stories of passengers, their lives, their aspirations, and their journeys. Serving as the gateway to their travel experiences, I found fulfillment in creating memorable beginnings and endings for those who entrusted their travels to our care.

Beyond the allure of destinations, I discovered camaraderie in the company of my fellow crew members. Our shared love for flying and the art of exploration bound us together, creating an environment of inspiration and mutual encouragement. Among these colleagues were pilots who saw potential in me that I hadn't yet fully realized. Their belief in my ambition and determination stirred a fire within, planting the seed of becoming a pilot myself.

As a solo flight attendant, I shared the skies with a compact team – one flight attendant and two pilots. Our close-knit interactions during overnight stays revealed a shared passion for travel. Conversations with my crewmates gradually dissolved my doubts, illuminating a path that I once thought was beyond my reach. Their encouragement, coupled with my growing fascination for aviation, motivated me to dream even bigger.

The journey from flight attendant to pilot encapsulates a pursuit of dreams, a quest for diversity, and a testament to resilience. It's a voyage I undertake with a heart full of gratitude for the experiences that have shaped me and a determination to chart a course that's uniquely mine. With each takeoff, I celebrate the journey that has brought me here, and with each landing, I honor the future that awaits me.

It all began in the year 2020, when I embarked on my first international voyage to the enchanting country of Turkey, accompanied by my mother.
